Question by : Do men like high maintenance women?
so this sarafina person answers my question and says “men like when women take care of their physical appearance , they don’t want wives who put their hair in a ponytail every day. i dont wish to be poweful ” powerful? what does that even mean? umm, sorry, only women care about hairstyles , men don’t care as long as your hair is long and healthy . as far as i know. im not going to spend hours doing my hair and make up, i have better things to do , i may only be 19 but im mature for my age , and ive dated men of all ages and races , and i know what they like and don’t like. thanks . and to the people who gave her thumbs ups, you can just go F yourselves ;p

I’m a 19 yr old college student , i’m not a feminist, but my hero is naomi wolf , i read her book, the beauty myth when i was 14, what she says is, even though women have jobs now and their own income, they spend all their money on lame stuff, like makeup, clothes, shoes, plastic surgery . guys are more intelligent , they save up and they buy their own houses , businesses, and shares , and by the time they’re 50, a man has a lot of money and power , but a woman doesn’t have anything… Women waste too much time and money trying to be ugly.. I don’t go to any more effort to look good than a man does. I don’t wear make up, I hate high heels, I’m a jeans and sneakers kind of girl, I have 3 pairs of shoes , and I don’t buy new jeans unless my old jeans have holes in them. When my friends ask me if I want to go clothes shopping, I’m like “no thanks. I already have clothes” I trim my own hair (i have long hair so i dont need to do it that often ) . I exercise a lot because I’m a runner , but I would never go on a diet.. I eat whatever I want.. I don’t wax or shave my legs, the only part of my body i remove hair from is, my underarms (for hygiene reasons ) . I only have baby hairs on my legs, I think thats totally normal, its not like guys look at your legs with microscopes , so who cares. I still wear short shorts when its hot in the summer .. I don’t even brush my hair on some days… I just get out of bed, brush my teeth, put my hair up in a ponytail, get into the jeans & tshirt i wore yesterday and i’m ready to go , and I feel confident…. I get asked out by guys all the time, that makes me happy, coz i’m myself and they still like me …. women think they have to be fake for men to be attrated to them but thats not true. if you’re naturally beautiful , and most women are, when they are young and in good shape, why do you need all those products ? the beauty / fashion industry just wants your moeny….. did you know that the average women has spent 200k on her appearance by the time she is 40? thats disgusting, there are starving kids in africa. plus you’ll be powerless, poor and totally dependent on your husband when you’re an old woman… he’ll be with a much younger woman buying her gifts …… trust me, it happened to my parents, so , if you have money, you can leave and you do what you want. money is power .
